The most wonderful news you would wish to know is that DRC (especially the mountainous forests of the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo) is the only country where you can be able to track the Eastern lowland gorillas, and is conducted from Kahuzi-Biega National Park.

When is the Best Time to Visit Congo Parks?

The best time to visit the national parks in the Democratic Republic of the Congo typically depends on the specific park and the activities you’re interested in. Generally, the dry seasons from May to September and December to February are the most popular times to visit. During these months, the weather is more manageable, and wildlife sightings are generally better and for gorilla trekking in parks like Virunga National Park, visiting during the dry seasons can enhance your experience, as trails are less muddy. However, the rainy season can also have its advantages, like fewer tourists and lush landscapes.
